Please be advised a truck accident in Treutlen County has closed a bridge on I-16, shutting down traffic in both directions.
The Georgia Department of Transportation is rerouting traffic through Soperton and Adrian.
The Georgia Ports Authority encourages drivers to prepare for rerouted traffic and to avoid the area if possible.
Georgia Ports will issue updates as more information becomes available.
