Sub-basin 61 Project is Nearly Complete
We’re happy to announce that the work on Sub-Basin 61, which began in June of 2022, is finally nearing completion. This project was part of our Stormwater Master Plan and included installing catch basins, manholes, storm sewers, and French drains, with the new system connecting to existing structures and pipes that discharge to the nearby canals. Despite unexpected delays related to the lining of the pipes connecting to the canals, the project will be substantially complete by the latter part of February.

Crews will soon be replacing sod, laying asphalt, and restoring swales and curbs as they work hard to return the area to its original state. After final inspection, small fixes will be made if any damage occurs during the last stages of the project.

Stay tuned for more updates, including possible temporary road closures during these final stages.
