Dress code reminder

As the colder weather sets in, please ensure your students are wearing appropriate outerwear.

Only approved Meridian spirit wear may be worn for pullover outerwear, sweatshirts, and fleece pullovers inside the classrooms. A red polo or grey oxford must be worn underneath with the collar visible Monday-Thursday. The collar is not required on spirit wear days.

World Parade Details

Nov. 12

Our 5th Annual World Parade takes place on Friday, Nov. 12. It is an all-school event. Because of limited space, parents and guardians are not able to attend the parade. The parade will be photographed and recorded.

Important Notes:

If you need to pick up your student early on Friday, please pick them up by 1:30 pm.
Drive in off of the IH-35 entrance to the High School campus. Meridian Lane may already be blocked.
Students picked up early will miss the parade and photo.
Dismissal traffic won't be allowed on campus until after the photo is finished (anticipated by 3-3:10 pm). This includes Fast Lane.
Remember to have your student wear red spirit wear or a red polo if they're not in the parade for the photo.

Lost and Found

Lost and found items are piling up. Make sure your student checks the area for water bottles, lunch bags, jackets, and more. All items will be donated during Thanksgiving Break.

Boys vs. Girls Varsity Volleyball Fundraiser - 5 pm Wednesday, Nov. 17! Details here.
Soccer Registration is now open. Registration ends at 10 pm on Nov. 18! No late registrations.
Basketball's first home games start next week. See Basketball Game Schedule.
We encourage our students to attend home basketball games. However, students who attend games must remain in the gym and watch the games. Wandering around the school will not be permitted.
Singers are needed for the National Anthem at home varsity games.
Deadline to form clubs and be included in the yearbook is December 1.
