Feeling a little creative? Do you like to paint?
Consider joining the LGBTQ+ and HIV Community Mural Print Project team! No Experience Necessary!!
Our presenter will be sharing information about this fun, creative, upcoming opportunity.
Rainbow Health invites you to join them as a Community Ambassador or as a Community Printmaker for the creation of a large-scale mural at Highpoint Center for Printmaking.
This printed portable mural will be displayed at various community and Pride events to visually communicate a unique historical and cultural story of our LGBTQ+ and HIV community.
Be a Community Ambassador: We are looking for 5 folks who are 50+ to attend the Community Ambassador training on May 30th from 1 – 4 pm to learn more about the project and to help create “the foundation” of the mural. As a Community Ambassador, you must be available to attend at least two of the three Community Printmaking Workshops to welcome participants and to assist with the creation of the mural alongside the rest of the community who come out to print their own work on the mural.
Participate in the Community Printmaking Workshops: We welcome participation from anyone of all ages in our LGBTQ+ and HIV community to add their work to the mural. The Community Printmaking Workshops are limited to 10 people, so reserve your spot today.
