Dear Fourth Church,
We received a wonderful report from the Deacons today that a record number of Thanksgiving Bag recipients were nominated this year — 142 recipients, which translates to providing food for approximately 350 people. Praise God for the opportunity to be salt and light in our community. Bag pick up is this Sunday after each morning service in the New Chapel across from the Music Office.
More quick notes for today:
-
Two more ways to bless our neighbors this weekend: the monthly Collection and Food Drive on November 13 and providing a Sunday Fellowship Dinner for Clark Inn on November 14. Visit the "More Opportunities to Serve" section of the Mission DMV webpage for how to participate. Note the special wishlist of school and craft supplies requested for this month's Collection.
-
Two registrations just opened this week: the Women's Christmas Gathering, Thursday, December 9, and the Family Advent Celebration, Friday, December 3. Visit 4thpres.org/women and 4thpres.org/children for details and to register.
-
