City of Medina - Hotel Survey for Manufacturing and Industrial Businesses


The City of Medina has been working with the developers of the Legacy Hotel on their project located in the Medina Historic District in the block between Washington Street and Smith Road on South Court Street. This 75-80 room hotel will offer meeting areas serving from 10-200 people, a fitness room, an upscale restaurant along with the rooftop lounge, an event center for larger company meetings or banquets and expanded on site parking. We are reaching out to the industrial and manufacturing community to receive updated feedback on the benefits this hotel might have for your company. We value your input on how your company might utilize this hotel in downtown Medina and what amenities you feel are important for your visitors. Medina County District Library - Treasurer Needed for Friends of MCDL


The Friends of Medina County District Library, a non-profit that supports the County Library's literacy efforts, is in need of a Treasurer. This person will attend quarterly Board meetings, balance the group's finances at the end of each month, and work with our accountant to supply sales tax info to the state. 

Basic accounting skills needed. Volunteers make all the deposits!

United Way of Summit & Medina offers free one-on-one financial coaching at our Medina office, virtually, or via phone via the Financial Empowerment Center. Coaching focuses on credit score improvement, debt reduction, increased savings, budgeting, and connection to safe and affordable banking.
