News and Notes - February 2024

Dear Maria,

Greenlight Family Services is very grateful for corporations and individuals who are dedicated to making a difference. Today, we want to shine the spotlight on one such incredible donor, Mark McLaurine. Mark is an engineer, entrepreneur, and owner of Tremark Logistics. In 2022, Tremark Logistics received the Impact Award for establishing “Christmas in a Case” for Illinois youth in care living in foster homes. Mark’s light continues to shine bright for Illinois youth and families with his most recent $5,000 gift. We are extremely thankful.

Please join Greenlight in celebrating Black History Month by reading our blog post below. Find out how Greenlight is providing solutions and access to services for black youth and families who are facing challenges within the child welfare system. We are here to help.

Lastly, please help us welcome our new 2024 Greenlight Counseling interns and save the date for Greenlight’s upcoming Love + Light: A Benefit for Survivors of Sexual Assault on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Please read below for further updates.

Sincerely,
