The Promenades

TONIGHT IS THE FINAL PROMENADE

It's the last Promenade so don't miss out on the fun... Join us today, Thursday, July 28 from 5-9pm on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Live music features FLO and Lavender Fields.
Just a few reminders so everyone can have a wonderful and safe Promenade experience:
  • Event Time is 5-9 pm.
  • Event area includes North Santa Cruz Avenue from Main Street to Bachman Avenue.
  • You may bring folding chairs and place them by the stage areas to fully enjoy the live music.
  • Port-a Potties are located at the Elm Street parking lot.
  • No outside alcohol is allowed.
  • Alcoholic beverages may not leave the designated event area.

Promenade Guests 21+
To purchase and consume alcohol
  • Go to an ID/Token Station
  • Present a valid photo ID and receive a non-transferrable wrist band.
  • Purchase tokens to buy alcoholic beverages from any of the event street-side vendors.
  • Sales of alcohol are limited to 1 drink per non-transferrable wristband.
  • Alcoholic beverages may not leave the designated event area.
  • ID/Token Stations & street side sales will close at 8:00 pm.

Last bit of advice, please clear the streets before 9 pm as the Avenue will open to through traffic shortly thereafter.

Sounds of Summer!
The Promenade, Jazz on the Plazz, Music in the Park
The Promenades, every Thursday evening, 5-9pm beginning June 16th through July 28th. North Santa Cruz Ave will be closed to through traffic allowing for everyone to promenade, enjoy live music, food and fun in Downtown Los Gatos. Bring the whole family. Kids’ activities will happen between 5-8pm. Music begins on the North Stage at 5:30pm and on the South Stage at 6:30pm. Grab a bite to eat from one of our great restaurants and step into a few of the downtown shops that will stay open late. 

Jazz on the Plazz, every Wednesday, beginning June 29, will make its grand entrance back into town and into our hearts. How we have missed you! Music will play from 6:30-8:30pm at Town Plaza. Bring a picnic dinner and join in the community fun. 

Music in the Park. This Concert series will consist of six live performances, beginning on July 17 on the Civic Center Lawn from 5-7pm. We encourage you to bring a picnic dinner, enjoy the warm summer sunshine and dance the early evening away.

Downtown Employee
Parking Kickoff
The Town of Los Gatos is pleased to announce the kickoff of the Downtown Employee Parking Program. Downtown Employees with a valid Downtown Employee Parking Permit are now authorized to park all day in the newly installed reserved employee parking spaces located in most Downtown municipal parking lots. Parking Control personnel will begin issuing written warnings for “Parking over the time-limit” and “Parking without a valid employee permit” in a designated employee stall. Complimentary Employee Parking Permits are still available online.

Beginning July 14th through July 31st Parking regulations enforcement will commence in the municipal parking lots as a part of the Employee Parking Program.

The Town thanks you in advance for your patience as they continue development of the Downtown Employee Parking Program. They will be monitoring utilization of the program and making periodic adjustments to balance the needs of the greater Downtown community. They welcome your feedback.
