A Message from Headmaster Scott
Dear Archway Trivium West Families,
May is here…the final month of school! Children are restless as they feel the energy of an impending summer vacation. The calendar is full of Mothers’ Day, community events, concerts, promotion ceremonies and graduations. Even in the midst of this bustle, our minds are drawn forward to family road trips, swimming pools, and summer camps of all kinds. The present and the future encompass all our thought capacity, and rightfully so. Nevertheless, I would ask you to pause this weekend to consider the past, not the deep past of ages gone before, but the recent past. Consider the nature of your child’s speech when this school year began. Consider how she read or how he interacted with others. Our scholars have grown tremendously this year. I am so proud of them. So enjoy the festivities of May and anticipate the joys of June, but take one moment this weekend for September and your smile while shine a little brighter.
Heartily Devoted,
Clay Scott
Headmaster

Health Office Donation Requests |
We highly encourage all students to bring their own water bottles to school. The water bottle refilling stations are available and bringing their own water bottle will allow our students to stay hydrated, avoid the need to leave the classroom as frequently, and minimize the sharing of the water fountain. Water cups and water bottles are available from the school nurse for students who forget their water bottle.
Parents, if you would like to donate a case of water to the school for our nurses to hand out in emergencies, this would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be left in the front office for the Archway Trivium West nurse.

PSO Uniform Collection and Exchange |
Our PSO will be hosting a Uniform Collection on Friday, May 20 from 7:30-9:30 AM and 1:30-3:30 PM outside the Front Office.
Additionally, on Monday, May 23 from 8:30-10:30 AM, the PSO will be collecting uniforms outside near the Archway MPR. During this time, items from the Archway Lost and Found will be displayed for parents to peruse and Archway Trivium West Spirit Wear will be available for purchase on clearance.
Families will be issued a donation voucher that they can use to shop at our Uniform Exchange. All donated items must be uniform-policy compliant, clean, and in good condition. Accepted items include: shirts with emblems, sweaters/pullovers with emblems, pants, shorts, skirts, rompers, belts, shoes, and concert attire. For Archway Trivium West, only Dennis or Anton-brand skirts and rompers will be accepted for exchange.

Take the PSO Community Survey! |
The PSO Board has already begun planning for next year and we want to ensure that all voices in our community are heard. We have created a brief (it should only take a few minutes!) survey to gather feedback on this year’s PSO events and activities. Remember - everyone is part of the PSO (no initiation and no dues!) and the PSO Board is deeply appreciative of your thoughts.

Academy Giving - Archway Donor List |
The Community Investment Campaign at Archway Classical Academy | Trivium West is an annual fund which covers the gap between what we need to deliver the Great Hearts educational model to our students and what we receive from public funding. Gifts to the Community Investment Campaign support virtually every aspect of school life and are vital to providing our scholars the education they deserve to become Great-Hearted leaders.
As we close out this school year, we are pleased to thank the following donors who have so far become generous supporters of our 2021-22 Community Investment Campaign. We appreciate your generous donations, and we want to recognize everyone accordingly with complete accuracy. If we have inadvertently made an error, please contact Annann Hong, Family Giving Officer, at (773) 307-6779 or ahong@archwaytrivium.org with concerns or corrections. We would be delighted to welcome any NEW DONORS to our list with a gift of a meaningful amount that can be made at www.bit.ly/ArchwayTriviumCI. Thank you!

Thank you for your patience and caution during student drop-off and pick-up. The safety of our students and staff is of the utmost importance.
As a reminder, to minimize the backup of traffic on Encanto/Bullard before the end of the school day, we are closing the Encanto entrance to our school parking lot from 2:35-3:00pm. Goodyear Police will be monitoring traffic on Encanto and Bullard during this time, and if you are stopped on one of these roads waiting to enter campus, you may be ticketed.
On Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, families who are picking up Archway-only students should arrive to campus AFTER 3:10 PM. Families picking up both Archway and Prep students, please remind your Prep students to arrive to the pick-up zone promptly.
On Wednesdays, families picking up BOTH Archway and Prep students are asked to arrive AFTER 1:40 PM. On Wednesdays, families picking up Archway-only should arrive at 1:25PM.
Parents picking up Archway students from school MUST use the Archway pickup line. Prep students picking up Archway students to meet a parent driver may NOT load into a car in the Prep pick-up line or on Palm Lane. The entrance/exit to our parking lot from Encanto Blvd is right turn only.
Please review the following links for the modified Traffic Flow and reach out to the front office with any questions.
