The Glades Initiative's Food Pantry is available to anyone in need. Residents may come in once per week at any time during the hours listed below. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines).

• Valid ID or your Glades Initiative Food Pantry ID
• ONE time per week
WHEN: Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Tuesday)

Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies January 2023 Educational Calendar
Educational Classes are for pregnant women and new families. Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies provides free hands-on education programs for parents and support partners. The class instructors are community partners or certified Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies staff.

13th Annual School Bus Drug Prevention Media Contest is Back
We are focused on vaping prevention, as well as underage drinking prevention and this contest is open to all Palm Beach County students grades K to 12. Poster Winners: Two $1,000 scholarships offered by Hanley Foundation and Judy Carreras Foundation, six $100 gift cards and two $50 gift cards.

An interactive tool using Google Maps to help people easily locate free food and hot meals in Palm Beach County. This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. United Way updates the information listed on this map weekly. However, locations and hours of distribution may change. Please consider calling the site prior to visiting to verify the information listed. Please note that sites may have specific requirements such as ID.

County Program Offers up to $15,000 for Low-Income Residents to Replace Home Air Conditioning Systems
The crisis Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Program, through LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program), is available to assist low-income Palm Beach County homeowners in need of replacing their HVAC systems. Residents may receive assistance up to $15,000 that can be used to replace a home cooling system.

In Need of Masks? Contact The Glades Initiative, Inc.
If you or people you know need masks, The Glades Initiative has masks and will share them with anyone in the Glades who needs them. These are the white two-ply reusable washable masks given by the health department. Call or come by to pick them up as long as supplies last.
If you are with a group of vulnerable people and need more than 20, call us first and we will do our best to help you get what you need.
