Sometimes, a fresh start is a beautiful thing. We wanted our teen center members to experience just that - through the opportunity to create a brand new mural on their patio wall.
A group from Mount Cross Lutheran Church, led by one of our Board Members, Tracy Blois, volunteered their time on Saturday morning to give the Harriet H Samuelsson Teen Center a little TLC. They not only made the patio wall a perfect blank slate, but they also built new garden beds, painted over graffiti, and deep cleaned the entire patio area.
I can't wait to see our teens' imaginations and skills at work creating a new mural and tending to their own garden.
