 On Thursday, May 9, at 10:00, a new informal group will be starting. Bring whatever you’re working on, or what you’d like to finish or start. The group will be whatever we want it to be, so come to our flagship meeting and enjoy some guilt-free time to work on whatever you like to do! We’ll meet in Z lounge from 10:00 to 12:00.

Mark your calendar for our next workday for Good Works.

We’ll be installing siding and soffits, putting up drywall and putting down flooring, and lots more. New volunteers are welcome! There’s something everyone can do.

We need a volunteer with electrical skills. Just for one workday would be a huge help. Can you help us, please?

Grace Space

Have you seen our Grace Space in the main Sanctuary and the Build Your Own Worship Bag station in the Annex hallway?



 This purpose-designed space helps families and children to worship together in meaningful ways. Children can choose from a variety of activities suitable for the worship space. There are coloring activities, books, and quiet fidget manipulatives. If your child is sound-sensitive, we have noise-reduction headphones to help make worship more comfortable. Watch for the refinement of this space in the months to come!

We are hiring a Church Sexton—

Grove is looking for a part time (20 hours a week) Sexton to oversee cleaning contractors, maintain HVAC systems, make minor repairs to facilities, be present for preschool needs when in session, set up rooms when needed for Sundays and special events, coordinate contacts with vendors, communicate lawn and snow issues and maintain communication with the building and maintenance team on a daily or weekly basis as needs or issues with the facilities develop. We are looking for a motivated person, with experience in facility maintenance, who is flexible based on the needs of the church and who also enjoys working with people. Criminal background and Child Abuse History are needed. Hourly compensation is $20.00 per hour. We need volunteers to be a second adult in the Church Nursery with our Staff Caregiver, Mrs. Layne Martin. The primary need is during the 9:00 AM traditional worship. All you need to do is be present so we can be in compliance with our Safe Sanctuaries policy. We know you appreciate our children and ask that you volunteer for one or two weeks during the year.
