At Trabuco Mesa, we Choose to Include!
We want everyone to be respected, feel welcomed, and know that they belong. While we all have different characteristics and capabilities that make us special, we appreciate our differences and that is what makes us unique individuals.

To celebrate National inclusion Day on March 2nd, students at Trabuco Mesa Elementary school watched a video about inclusion and discussed what inclusion meant to them. We encourage all students to make new friends and include everyone both in school and in our community. Students made inclusion posters to post around the school. Students also signed their name on a large banner in honor of Choosing to Include and pledging to make this one of their personal goals!

In Case You Missed It
Congratulations to the SVUSD 2022
Teachers of the Year!

It is always exciting in Saddleback Valley Unified School District (SVUSD) when it is time to officially celebrate exemplary teachers. SVUSD teachers instruct, support, and build relationships with our students and families. Amidst the ever-changing world around us, our teachers create a safe and welcoming learning landscape for our students, instituting a culture of belonging, curiosity, innovation, and rigor. It is because of their dedication, professionalism, and desire to build partnerships with our families that our students continue to grow academically and socially.

Congratulations to our three SVUSD teachers who have been chosen as the 2022 SVUSD District Teachers of the Year. These stellar teachers will submit applications to be considered as Orange County Teacher of the Year for 2023:

Patty Reddick, Cielo Vista Elementary School
Sheryl Gomez, Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate School
