August 15, 2022
Dear Grades 1-5 Dorchester Parents,
Your children’s teachers and I are looking forward to the 2022-2023 school year. In order to make the first day of school as seamless and worry-free for your families as possible, we will again be offering an optional Supply Drop-Off Day prior to the start of the year. Please visit our 2022-23 Supply Lists webpage for individual grade level lists and how you may order through our PFA vendor.
On Thursday, August 25, from 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (rain date Friday, August 26), 1st grade supplies may be dropped off on the lower level outside the gym/CST entrance, and 2nd-5th grade supplies may be dropped off on the upper level outside the lunch room. When you drive up to the school on either level, there will be cones on the walkway labeled with each teacher’s name. Please place your child’s supplies behind his/her teacher’s cone so that our custodians are able to deliver your child’s items to the correct classroom. You will be able to view your child’s class assignment and teacher name through PowerSchool early next week, and I will share information about accessing that in the upcoming days.
Please be sure that all bags or boxes of supplies are clearly labeled with your child’s name and teacher’s name.
If you are unable to attend the Supply Drop-Off Day, your child is welcome to bring his/her materials on the first day of school. I look forward to seeing you and your children as we begin our school year.
Sincerely,
Stefanie Marsich
