ACC Recognizes Best of Alberta Business
Last Friday, the Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) held its 30th annual Alberta Business Awards of Distinction (ABAD). Emceed by communicator, journalist and Global News anchor Jennifer Crosby, the event recognized ongoing business excellence and leadership in Alberta.
ABAD's thirteen award categories recognize achievements of organizations and entrepreneurs who enrich Alberta's communities with their outstanding contributions. In addition, Alberta's Best of Business Award of Distinction is a prestigious award presented to a finalist chosen from among all categories.
In 1996, the Airdrie Festival of Lights began with a group of local residents committed to putting Airdrie on the map. That group grew over the years to become the Airdrie Festival of Lights Society (AFOLS), which has continued to operate the Festival. Situated in the heart of Nose Creek Park in Airdrie, AB, we are Western Canada’s largest, free, outdoor walk-through Christmas Light Display.
