CHAMBER UPDATES | April 29, 2024 | |
Chamber Leaders-
As many of you know, I came from Illinois and on the West-side of Chicago where I grew up, it was a tough neighborhood. When Guido came to collect our rent, I knew to tell him that my mom wasn't home even if she was hiding in the bedroom. He didn't really carry a bat to the door, but likely had one in his car if necessary.
While I recognize that bill collections shouldn't be that difficult, businesses today are often faced with Accounts Receivable issues, and a myriad of other challenges that keep business owners up at night. We hosted our second Leadership Summit of the year (2nd Wed. at 8:30am), and David Denny did an amazing job of taking us through many of the workforce culture opportunities that create a winning atmosphere among top organizations. We are excited about this format and hope you can attend.
This month we will move to hosting our Sales Summit on May 8th (Kevin Lawson as guest host) before returning to the Leadership Summit on June 12th with Randy Wheeler (John C. Maxwell Coach) who will be talking about the importance of team building. In just our tenth year of existence, we have kicked our programing up a notch and welcome your feedback about programs that you'd like to see.
Remember that the Hometown Hero is just around the corner (June 13th) but between now and then, there are plenty of other opportunities to Connect, Support, and Celebrate across Colerain.
Thanks.

Louie's Legacy
Animal Rescue
www.louieslegacy.org
| |
Louie's Legacy started in 2006 with Emily's journey with Louie, a basset hound mix, began when she rescued him from a shelter with a high euthanasia rate.
Driven by Louie's experience and the heartbreaking reality of shelter animals facing euthanasia, Emily began volunteering for various rescue organizations. In 2009, she took the bold step of establishing Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue in her grandparents' home in Cincinnati.
Since its inception, Louie's Legacy has grown into one of the largest foster-based rescues in the country, saving countless animals from euthanasia. Their unique fostering model allows animals to thrive in family environments, enabling the organization to gain valuable insights into the animals behavior and needs.
