Updates From the City

**Starting on Monday, May 6th**

Road Closure | N Bridge Street | Waterline Replacement Project

The City's contractor plans to install new waterlines along N Bridge Street starting the week of May 6. Anticipated road closures will affect N Bridge Street, from 1st Street to the Little Platte River, with an estimated duration of approximately 3 weeks.

At night, the contractor will open the southbound lane of N Bridge Street.

All work is weather permitting.

Last dates of the school year for Warrior Closet!

We could also use any preschool aged sized donations from all the garage sales to restock before the start of school. We accept all donations from 3T - high school aged. Please bring to either of the May nights that are open.

Show your support for local businesses with Best of the Northland voting. Voting in the Courier-Tribune and Gladstone Dispatch’s Best of the Northland contest is now open! In its 34th year, the Best of the Northland contest celebrates the hard work, wonderful customer service and dedication our community business partners provide to make the Northland a great place to live, play and work.

Ballots are available online at bestofthenorthland.net through May 20 and in weekly print editions of the newspapers. Paper ballots can be dropped off 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays or mailed to 104 N. Main St. in Liberty, 64068. Each person may fill out four paper ballots .

Best of the Northland winners will be announced in a special section in upcoming newspaper editions in July and will be celebrated at a reception in their honor at Belvoir Winery.

Use #BOTNkc in all social media posts about your business and the contest to encourage your friends, family, and most importantly, your customers, to vote for you!
