CARMEN PEASE SAYS GOODBYE
Help us Say Farewell and honor her!
Sunday, May 30 at both services
"The time has come for me to transition into a different phase of my career as a counselor. I have accepted a position locally and will soon begin this next chapter as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist.
Messiah has been my family’s church home for 25 years and my work home for over 16 years. Saying goodbye is not easy, however I know the path that God has set me toward, and I must respond with faithful resound. My role at Messiah as Equipping and Connecting Director has afforded me the highest honor of being a mom to our two children with flexible hours. Macy was three years old and attended Messiah Preschool when I began working here in 2005. It’s been a wonderful environment to work and raise our children.
The staff is Messiah’s greatest asset. There are passion-filled genuine people here who are phenomenal at what they do. I personally have appreciated the freedom I’ve been given to take risks, try new things and have a part in many areas beyond my original position. It’s been an amazing journey that I find difficult to fully express my gratitude for. My time in ministry has led me to this place of passion in counseling the hurting. It was about five years ago when a partner in ministry asked me to meet with them weekly as a life coach. I accepted the challenge and found how much I didn’t know and understand. That was the seed God planted that led me to this moment.
I want to thank the Messiah and all the people who have touched our lives during this journey. You are and will forever be a part of my story. Your support means so much to my family and me. Again, I have been honored to have been a part of the Messiah team for all these years and wish everyone the best."
