Environmentally Friendly Products and Sustainable Design

A living textbook for sustainable design, the School of the Future, fosters a safe and productive learning environment with its technologically advanced aesthetic. YKK AP collaborated with EQ Architects to create an environmentally friendly high school designed to provide energy savings and increased durability, reducing maintenance. The architects chose to use YKK AP curtain walls, window walls, and sunshades to meet their criteria for safety, comfort, design sustainability and life cycle savings. This project proves that the school of the future can be economical today.
