Annual KCA Election Update
The 2021 Annual Election for three Board of Trustees members was uncontested and therefore, our Treasurer, Ken Dretchen was automatically re-elected by acclamation.

There are still two vacant Board positions. A letter has been sent to all Titleholders seeking volunteers. The Election Committee has set a deadline for Monday, November 22, 2021 at 5 p.m. EST.

will be moved indoors, to Kentlands Manor Dining Room at 217 Booth St.

Kentlands Manor is privileged to announce a fun and slightly scarrry evening in the Dining Room at Kentlands Manor this Friday, October 29th from 5 - 6:30 p.m.!

Tanya and her amazing masked students will perform, and light appetizers and wine & cheese will be served. Guest costumes are encouraged and prize$ will be awarded for the most creative, the scariest, and the funniest.

The concert will also be featured Live! On Facebook – simply go to Facebook, search for/type in “Kentlands Manor” and the concert will be playing from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Update to Mask Mandate

On Thursday, Oct. 28 at 12:01 a.m., Montgomery County suspended its mandate requiring masks or face coverings indoors in locations accessible to the public.

Gaithersburg City Election
November 2, 2021

Be sure to return your completed Mail-in Ballot via USPS or drop it off at one of the Ballot Drop Box locations listed.


Voting in person is at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Avenue next to Gaithersburg High School and is the ONLY polling place available during this election.

Voting on Election Day: Tuesday, November 2, is from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Kentlands Clubhouse on Tschiffely Square Road and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Kent Gardens Circle are NOT voting sites.

2022 Budget - Approved and Adopted

On Wednesday, October 27, 2021 the FY22 KCA Budget was approved and adopted by the Board of Trustees. The approved budget may be viewed on the website or by clicking here.
Home Inspections: Update

The follow-up inspections for the single family homes will commence the week of November 8, 2021. Titleholders who have remedied all observations are encouraged to contact the Clubhouse for reinspection, so accounts can be updated accordingly. For questions, email the Assistant Manager.
Exercise Room

The Exercise Room is available 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. Every resident must scan their personal Electronic Facilities Pass (EFP) at the Exercise Room door to enter, even if family members and friends are together.

Guests must be accompanied by a Kentlands resident and can use the Exercise Room 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. A $3 Guest Fee is required or a Kentlands resident may use their 2021 Guest Pass.

All equipment except for an elliptical has arrived and is ready for your use.

Leave Your Mews Lights On

With the season changing and it getting dark earlier, all mews lights must be lit from dusk to dawn. Thank you for keeping your mews lights on for the safety of all.

Dear Kentlands and Lakelands Residents who are 55 and over:
Please consider joining the Village at Kentlands and Lakelands as a social member, service member or volunteer.

We Need Volunteers!
Our volunteers help Kentlands and Lakelands residents who are 55 and older who need help with light chores and transportation or simply want someone to talk to.
We also are looking for volunteers to help with media, organizing events, fundraising and more.

We Need Members!
Some people join because of the social opportunities the Village provides. Others join because they need a little help so that they can remain independent.
