We're Coming Back
Pastor Rich

Christianity, CS Lewis observed, is not a solitary religion. We are part of each other; we journey together into the Kingdom of God.

God did not make us to be isolated and apart from one another, God made us to be in communion with Him and in community with one another.

Vice President's Message Mertella Munroe

Hi All,

In the midst of this difficult and persistent pandemic, we have all been forced to reflect and contemplate ways of coping. We looked to our leaders, families and friends for comfort but they too sought the same.

FAITH UNSCRIPTED
Earlier this month, Pastor Rich launched his new weekly radio show, "Faith Unscripted," on WRCR. Recent guests on the show include Rabbi Paul Kurland of the Nanuet Hebrew Center and Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann.

If you're located in the Rockland County area, you can tune into AM 1700 every Tuesday from 10:10-10:40AM or listen live on the WRCR website. You can also listen to past episodes on the CRC website. Click here to listen.
CHURCH UPDATES
Reopening
After more than a year of church online, we are excited to announce that we will be reopening our doors on Sunday, May 9th for in-person worship. To ensure the continued safety of our congregation and guests, there will be temperature checks at the door and masks will be required. We have plenty of space in our beautiful sanctuary to worship together but at a safe distance. For anyone unable to join us in person, we will continue to stream services online. We look forward to "seeing" you however you choose to worship with us!

Renovations
In addition to reopening, our historic church will be getting a new coat of paint and the parking lot will be repaved. Donations to help with the upkeep of this landmark are greatly appreciated!

FOR THE LEAST OF THESE
"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." ~ Matthew 25:40

The Clarkstown Reformed Church, a Christian Church living up to the Gospel of Matthew, is following Christ's doctrine of caring for the least of these.

We are in Christian fellowship with the following community organizations:

1. PROVIDENCE HOUSE
A community based program in support of women facing challenges when returning to society after incarceration. Through mutual understanding and spiritual reflection they help the women to reunite with their children and discover a greater sense of self. The program helps with housing and family reunification.

2. STRIVE
A community based program for those 25 years and older, females and males, who are on parole or probation by helping them with occupational skills training with a hands on certification process that follows one of several paths aligned with local market demand and on employer needs.

3. HELPING HANDS OF ROCKLAND COUNTY
Helping Hands is serving the homeless with meals, shelter, food and case management when applying for government assistance programs.

4. MARTIN LUTHER KING MULTI PURPOSE CENTER
A community based organization in Spring Valley providing meaningful programs to adults, children, elders and families.

Elders lead valuable and productive lives with NYS licensed programs, summer programs, youth employment programs and family health assistance.

5. THE WALTER HOVING HOME
A program helping young women with addiction problems return to society with dignity and purpose.

6. AGENO FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL, INC.
Supplies medical supplies to indigenous populations in Africa, Haiti and Jamaica.

7. WARWICK RETREAT CENTER
A Reformed Church retreat center which can accommodate Church as well as community events. They also have a children's camp and conference center.

8. GOOD NEWS FOOD PANTRY ROCKLAND COUNTY
Food distribution to the needy.
