A GREAT DAY IN THE KINGDOM
Have you ever felt unimportant, insignificant, or just one more person in this world? Sometimes it is easy to devalue the significance of our existence, as we navigate this world. When we, as people...

WHAT'S HAPPENING
A NOTE FROM THE AUMC FINANCE COMMITTEE
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!! For what? Many things, but specifically for your continued financial support to your Church during these unprecedented times. We started 2020 asking for a LIFT and you stepped up even during a pandemic. Because of your continued support and Staff doing a great job of keeping expenses down, we were able to end the year very strong with money in the bank! Not knowing in April 2020 what the year would bring, we applied for and received an SBA PPP loan. We learned in Jan 2021 that the loan was forgiven and we have reserved those funds for future use. This year, we will be reviewing our capital expenditure needs and looking at lowering our existing debt. We decided not to have the annual Stewardship Campaign for 2021 believing that we can count on your continued financial support. The Finance Committee and Church Council have approved 2021 Operating Budget based on contributions from 2020. We were able to include a much deserved raise for our Exceptional Staff in addition to covering our operating expenses and expanding our programs. You are helping our Church to Grow in many ways!!
On behalf of the Finance Committee Thank You!!
Rhonda Evers
Remember this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously. Each person should do as he has decided in his heart—not reluctantly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
