Easter Reflections
What a wonderful celebration of Easter for the St. Gregory family. On behalf of the Children's Ministry, I want to say thank you to everyone who contributed candy for the Easter bags. Thank you to Alice Mohor for helping fill the bags and providing the "confetti eggs;" to Jenifer Marquardt and Rheena Campbell for assisting with the flowering of the cross; to youth and Pete Nicholls for hiding eggs; to Jenifer Borg for collecting found eggs and exchanging the bags of goodies; to Mtr. Nikki for including the children in the presenting of the offerings; and to everyone else who played a role in helping our children learn to celebrate Resurrection. It truly was a joy to be gathered together in worship and fellowship afterwards -- after so many months of distancing. Indeed, it was a symbolic resurrection of our shared connection as the family of God.
We will resume this Sunday with Children's Sunday School at 9:15, as well as Children's Chapel. I hope that all of the children who hunted for eggs can join us soon.
Blessings -
Mr. Doug

POETRY + 2
Please join us for a poetry reading from our new books! Rebecca Baggett’s The Woman Who Lives Without Money (Regal House Publishing) and Sarah Gordon’s The Lost Thing (Mercer University Press) both appeared in March of 2022, and we are eager to share our work with the St. Gregory community. The joint reading will be held in the Parish Hall at 7:00 on May 7, and it’s free and open to the public. Hey, even if you think you don’t like poetry, we’ll convert you! Note that we are not allowed to sell our books at the reading, but they are both available in local bookstores, on bookshop.org, and Amazon. PLEASE DO WEAR YOUR MASKS!

Additionally, we need a kind soul to serve as a coordinator for the ushers. If you would like to volunteer, and/or coordinate, please contact Anna Hiers, vestry liaison to the Worship Committee, via email or @ 706-340-9799. Training will be provided.

Wanted: Bread Bakers !
You may have noticed we no longer are using Styrofoam wafers during Communion. Lane Norton and Brad Hankins have been baking bread for us to use as Communion bread. If you enjoy baking and have 2 hours a month you would like to smell fresh baked bread, consider joining Lane and Brad as we eliminate Styrofoam from our environment. Each baker would supply bread one Sunday per month. If you are interested, contact Brad via email or 706 255-2313.
