Good-bye to Tom and Joanne P.
Tom and Joanne P. will be moving to Santa Rosa in March. On March 6 we will say good-bye to them in worship and at Fellowship Time. As part of the good-bye, we would like your help by writing them a note on a 3 x 5 card expressing a memory, appreciation, or thank you. Cards will be available following worship or in the church office. Please return the cards to the church office before March 4.
Brushy Peak Lenten Hike, March 13
Children’s Ministry is hosting a 4.5 mile Lenten hike on Brushy Peak, Livermore, at 2pm on Sunday, March 13. Everyone of all ages, come meet us in the free-to-park parking lot near the restrooms. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water, a snack, sturdy shoes, and your curiosity in finding new ways to bring compassion into the world. Complete the hike and receive a treat. This is a rain or shine event and you are welcome to wear a mask.
Giving Opportunity to St. Anne Village Respite Care Center
Asbury is supporting the work of St. Anne Village, a licensed Adult Day Program in Byron. St. Anne provides a greatly needed service to the East Bay community, serving 15 adults at any given time, many living with Alzheimer's and dementia. Their daily schedule enriches seniors' lives through activities such as games, arts and crafts, music, daily exercise and the comfort of interacting with others in their same element. Asbury’s own Steve Collup is a frequent visitor and helper at St. Anne.

The Staff Parish Relations and Finance Committees would like to extend the invitation to the Asbury community to contribute to this important work. If you would like to help, donations can be sent to the church office or though Zelle (destination is Finance@Asburylive.org) with the notation that the gift is for the St. Anne program. Some folks have suggested they would like to participate in an ongoing way in supporting one or more days per month for a participant at $99/day. Regularly scheduled gifts can be sent to Asbury through your bank or Zelle, with “St. Anne Village” on the memo line.
