The legislature has completed the body of origin deadline and now legislation which survived the deadline has been assigned to committees per the opposite chamber. The Senate already approved and passed their proposed budget Senate Leaders Comment After Budget Transparency Measure Passes Senate Floor | Oklahoma Senate (oksenate.gov) The House of Representatives continues to craft their proposed budget and the Governor's office continues to call for tax cuts and a flat budget. House and Gov Tax Cuts The last day of session is May 31st if not before. Candidate filing is April 3-5.

HB3670 by Chair Nicole Miller and Senator Haste provides civil engineers and engineering firms the same incentives held by aerospace, automotive and cyber engineers is now in the Senate Finance Committee. THANK YOU to everyone who shared Representative Miller's Op-Ed via social media.

Governor Stitt is challenging AG Drummond's opinion on duel office holding. Stitt also vetoed a bill resolving AG Drummond's opinion saying the legislation was not needed. This decision obviously effected ODOT and OTA. Gov Stitt and AG Drummond

The Annual Meeting and the Mid-States meeting! Our board has been advocating to host a Mid-States meeting here in Oklahoma however our attendance has been low in the past. This year the meeting will be held in Kansas City and is expected to be outstanding. More information below.
