Hello Colleagues,
First, a big thank you once again for allowing me to serve as Chair for the 3rd year in a row!
With a new year we can only hope that we learned how to take a negative emotion and make it a positive one. Just a few takeaways from 2020: extend grace to others because we may not know their circumstances. Secondly, have patience in whatever it is - everyone is on this journey and on a learning curve. Last but not least, let's think outside the box and do events, meetings or just a conversation virtually from home so that those who are home staying safe for themselves or others can still be included.
With that being said, OKCMAR still holds a 2-star Commercial Services Accreditation with NAR. I would like to give a shout out to my committee members for showing up on time to the first meeting without a reminder! This tells me I have an amazingly dedicated volunteer group of individuals. If you see any of these wonderful ladies please give them a positive shout out:

Finally, I want to end this quick note by saying this newsletter is geared for everyone looking to learn more about commercial real estate. Commercial is not for everyone but it might just be for you; and we as a team will strive to make 2021 a better year and to serve you as members of OKCMAR.
