Hot Meals for Those In Need
   
At Community Action Partnership's Gathering Place soup kitchen, hot, nutritious meals are being packed in to-go boxes for anyone in need to pick up from the Gathering Place front porch. Meals can be picked up Monday through Friday from 5:00-6:00 PM.  Read more  about the services they provide about how they are adjusting the the pandemic.

Dr. Bob Rauner, president of Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln, is a family physician with a masters degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University.  He is also the Chief Medical Officer for OneHealth Nebraska.  He has been providing clear, science-based information and updates about COVID 19, the corona virus, on a series of You Tube Videos. Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln (PHL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health, wellness, and fitness of our community.  We collaborate with other organizations on joint projects to improve health by increasing physical fitness, promoting good nutrition, supporting breastfeeding, and working with healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.
 
Our work includes improving health and wellness policies, conducting community level research, and evaluation of the success of local health initiatives.
