Dear Alumni,
As spring draws near and with it the perpetual season of hope, I share with you my hope that you feel renewed in your own life and work. This week at Drexel Engineering marks the one-year point of one of the greatest changes in our history, and despite the challenges that have arisen from the pandemic, I remain hopeful, because change is what engineers are made for. Our charge as engineering educators and innovators is to embrace change, to foster growth and to empower future generations of engineers to tackle challenges in local and global communities. Of course, there is still much work to do, and I trust you will find hope in the stories that follow. Hope for reinventing our research, hope for overcoming obstacles and hope for our collective future.
