Please consider helping in this month's Meals for the Hungry on Saturday, January 20th. Thank you for your generosity in feeding those in need. We ask that food donations be delivered in disposable (i.e., aluminum) pans and that each donation be enough to feed 15 people. Donations can be dropped off at the Immaculata kitchen (attached to the school) between 4:15 and 5:00 PM on Saturday. Food will be kept warm and cold as necessary until transport to Urban Ministries on Liberty Street, where meals will be served in person.

Help needed

Each Monday, the food that was donated at Mass over the weekend is transported to Catholic Charities. We have different people scheduled each week of the month. Some health issues are not going to allow the couple that is scheduled for the fourth Monday of the month to continue with this work. If you can help transport the food once a month, please contact Margie and she will provide instructions.

Christmas Cards

Are you wondering what to do with the Christmas cards you received this past Christmas? We would love to have them. We use these cards to make the tags for the Giving Tree project. You can drop them off at the office or put them in an envelope labeled Margie and leave it in the bride's room when to come to Mass over the weekend. Thank you so much for your help!

Living in the Gap - 4-week Zoom Sessions

Most of us live most of our lives on autopilot. We’re not really “choosing” we’re “reacting.” You are invited to be part of Living in the Gap a 4-week program on Zoom that begins on Thursday, January 18, 2024. What exactly is “the Gap?” The “Gap,” is the emotional space (and sometimes it is a very small space) between our beginning to feel distressed, irritated, or anxious and the negative (at times explosive) reaction that follows. Our reaction is not intentional, it seems to just happen as we head over a waterfall of emotion! In this program, we look at ways to grow in our ability to understand ourselves and the reasons we react as we do so that we can grow in our ability to intentionally respond as the person we know ourselves to be. For more information, visit Programs - WVIS or email sally@sayyes2yourlife.org.
