IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Apple Order Pick-Up
If you ordered Davidson Orchard Apples, they are arriving this week! Orders can be picked up according to the schedule below at the Multi-purpose Room door near the North East corner of our main parking lot. Please wear a mask and remember social distancing when arriving at the door.

Pick-up Times:
Wednesday Oct 20 – 5:00 to 6:00pm
Thursday Oct 21 – 8:15 to 8:45am
Thursday Oct 21 – 5:00 to 5:30pm

Please note that there is no school on Friday and we do not have cold storage for apples not picked up, so it is important that they are picked up by Thursday at the latest.

Pro-D Day
Our next Pro-D day is coming up on Friday October 22. Teachers will be participating in a variety of district and provincial professional developement opportunities. There will be no school on this day.
Panago Credits
As you are probably aware,we had some major challenges with our Panago Hot Lunch order a couple weeks ago. In an effort to reconcile for the mistakes made, Panago Pizza has graciously offered to provide each child who ordered from Panago in October with a credit for both their October Hot lunch order and their December Hot Lunch order! You should see this credit show up in your Hot Lunch account by December. Thank you again to our volunteers and staff who worked hard to make the best of a difficult situation.
Interim Reports
Over the next two weeks teachers will be sending home the first informal student progress report of the school year. The primary focus of the October Interim report is Social Responsibility which includes things such as work habits, participation, effort and behaviour.

Halloween Costume Day
As Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, students can choose to wear a Halloween Costume to school on Friday October 29. If your child is planning to wear a Halloween costume, please ensure they...

  1. Keep fake weapons (ie. swords, daggers, guns, etc.) at home and save them for Halloween night
  2. Keep blood and gore to a minimum – not too scary please
  3. Keep Halloween masks of any type at home and save them for Halloween night
  4. Choose a costume that is respectful of all individuals and cultures
  5. Choose a costume that will not interfere with learning
