President’s Note
I have two assignments this time for each and every one of you. They are extremely important to the health of our organization, so please do not shirk these duties as Texas Music Teachers.
Number 1 (and most important) – we need you to cast your ballot for the future leaders of TMTA. Below you will find a listing of all the nominees along with a link to their bios and the page on our website to cast your ballot. Please take the small amount of time necessary to read their qualifications and vote for your preference. Every vote is important to this process. Do it now, and the next time you see a reminder, you can smile and feel proud that you have already done your duty as a TMTA member!
Number 2 – I hope you will examine your schedule and see if you can join us this summer for our “reunion” convention in Dallas. Richard has been listing the highlights, so I know you must be intrigued by all the offerings. You can’t get a better deal like this anywhere. If you counted everything available, it would be like two dollars per event. You can’t even get a cup of coffee for that these days! Please check your calendar and make plans to join us this summer. We have a place reserved just for you –
See you in Dallas,
Dr. Roy Wylie, NCTM
TMTA President
