Dear Cromwell Community Member,
The new Cromwell Middle School cost estimates will be reviewed at this week's meeting. In May the estimates are presented to the Town Council and Board of Finance for their review and possible action to approve. The Building Committee also anticipates that the Town Council will set the date of the Special Town Meeting.
At the Special Town Meeting, expected to take place in early June, all Cromwell residents review and possibly vote on the project. Note: If a petition is brought forward the project could go to referendum which would be set seven to 14 days after the special town meeting.
An open house will be held at the current school for the community to learn about the features and plans for the future Cromwell Middle School. The committee will provide guided tours from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and an optional presentation and Q&A session at 6 p.m. All Cromwell residents are invited. Children welcome!
