BELLE CHASSE, LA. - The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announces the following scheduled construction activities and anticipated traffic impacts. As always, these anticipated impacts are subject to potential changes.
Additionally, in recognition of the anticipated additional traffic for the New Orleans Air Show this weekend, the “old” Belle Chasse Bridge will not lift during the late afternoon - early evening hours on both Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy the Air Show and stay safe!

- Wednesday, 3/27 - LA 23 southbound right lane closure from Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd. and LA 23 right lane northbound closure across the old bridge
- Thursday, 3/28 - LA 23 southbound right lane closure from Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
- Friday, 3/29 - LA 23 southbound right lane closure from Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
