Mark your calendar and plan to attend our next Education Excellence and Quarterly Membership Meeting on Thursday, August 11th.
This time, we'll be meeting in the Commons on the Mukogawa Fort Wright campus near Spokane Falls Community College.
The education piece will be a Purchase & Sale Agreement class, which is required for residential brokers to take once in every four-year cycle.
If you have not taken this class since January 1, 2013, you need to take it this year!

Housing Market Humming
|
The Spokane-area housing market is the strongest it's been in years, with homes fetching higher prices amid an inventory crunch.
Still, prices in the region remain relatively affordable - especially compared with the torrid market in the Seattle area - and interest rates are low.

Home Prices Soaring
|
It's not just Seattle that's seeing eye-popping housing costs: Across Washington, home prices are rising faster than in any state in the country - the first time that's happened in a quarter-century.
Soaring costs from Bellingham to Spokane have propelled the state to a record for home prices, surpassing its pre-recession peak for the first time. Just in the last few years, Washington has zoomed up the list of priciest states in the nation and now sits in the top five overall.

The SpokaneOpen.com Summer Weekend will be a mini version of our annual Spokane REALTORS® Open House Weekend, though there will be no prizes this time.

Need to pay a parking meter in Spokane but don't have any quarters? There's an app for that!
The City is currently rolling out a pay by phone option for all of its 3,500 parking meters, whether modern or traditional, which is available for many of the meters now and should be completed over the next several months.
