Friends,

This month, it is my pleasure to announce a new interview series from the Carpenter Center. Tune in to Beyond the Stage as we explore the creative arts with scholars, students, and arts professionals. Our first episode is available now, and additional conversations will be released throughout the summer!

As we draw closer to what would traditionally be the Carpenter Center’s Fall season, we continue to monitor state, county, and campus guidance on presenting safe indoor performances. While much of California is ready to reopen this week, resuming large indoor performances presents a unique series of challenges. Please know that our work on reopening is ongoing, and that your health and safety are at the forefront of all of our decisions. We’ll have more to announce later this summer. Sincerely,
Megan Kline Crockett
