We Want YOUR Input!
BHA's Education and Recreation (ER) Committee is springing back into action after a COVID pause. What activities/classes/lessons/special events would you like to have offered for property owners? This could include options we have had in the past (such as Pilates/bridge lessons/James Taylor lecture) or something totally new and different. Please send us your thoughts. Thank you!

Email your ideas for activities/classes/lessons/special events to Betsi Stephen, chair of the ER Committee, at betsistephen@gmail.com.

Effective April 1, 2022
On February 23, 2022, the North Carolina Utility Commission (NCUC) ordered a checked-baggage limit of THREE (3) items per ticketed passenger on the Bald Head Island Ferry. The order also limits the size and weight of checked-baggage to being no larger than a standard 48-quart cooler and weighing no more than 50 pounds. Excess baggage as well as oversized and overweight items may be subject to an additional charge of $23 per item. Bald Head Island Transportation, Inc. will begin implementing this order on April 1, 2022 and through the remainder of the year. Click HERE for the NCUC Order A-41, Sub 20, and the amendment link is HERE.
