In case you missed it: Happy holidays!

Colleagues,

As I reflect on what I'm most thankful for this holiday season, your ongoing engagement and partnership top the list. I am so very grateful.

This has been another monumental year for Advocate Physician Partners –especially as we played an important part in the integration to become Advocate Health. The power of scale allows us to take our population health work to the next level on a national stage – while delivering on our clinical preeminence, affordability and equity enterprise pledges.

With that said, I’m proud, inspired and excited for what’s ahead.

We also thank you for our ongoing engagement. Be sure to review key updates in our January Top 5.

Thank you for all you do.

Gary Stuck, DO FAAFP

CEO, APP | EVP, Chief Medical Officer, Advocate Health

Epic Updates

Epic Update: Ambulatory Epic Connect: Controlled substance prescribing, OB/GYN visit types and more.

Epic Update: Hospital edition: Pulmonary Function Test study review pallet changes for pulmonologists, log signature removal for diagnostic and interventional cardiology and EP, update delayed to secure chat message retention and more.

Additional Things to Know

Making it easier for patients to get labs: Many of our ACL Laboratories Patient Service Centers now offer patients the chance to reserve online to come in the same day or the following for lab work. Patients who would otherwise walk in for lab work can decide where to go based on current wait times, distances and services – another important step towards delivering an easy, connected and personalized scheduling experience across our organization.
