Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business This Past Week
1. Represented at the Northwest Florida Business Roundtable Informational Session University of West Florida President Martha Saunders and JT Young, Vice President and General Manager, Florida Power and Light . It was great to see a room full of business leaders who want to collaborate and advance Northwest Florida’s economic interests.
2. We had a great “Help A Sister Out” Session at this month’s Women 2 Women Connecting! It was an absolute “game-changer” - to see how attendees were getting excited to help “connect” other attendees to the people they would like to meet at the next meeting! We can’t wait to see who everyone brings! Special thanks to University Lending Group for sponsoring a delicious lunch!
3. We were proud to be part of the Navarre Centennial Celebration Committee’s successful unveiling of the official logo of the Centennial Celebration! We are extra proud that the logo was designed by a member of the 2nd graduating class of Navarre High School (2001): Thomas Kulesa, who is also a Pensacola State College Graduate, and is now the Art Director at Sandpaper Marketing, a Navarre Chamber Legacy Member.
4. We LOVED sharing more about the incredible benefits of being a Navarre Chamber Member with a group of 12 small business owners, managers, organizations and individuals. at the Chamber 101 Member Orientation Workshop. It was great to watch them making valuable connections as they each shared more about their businesses/organizations during the workshop.
5. We were happy to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of the Panhandle Butterfly House and Nature Center in Milton with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony!
