REQUESTING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT
Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. To obtain an absentee ballot you must make the request in writing. You must also include a copy of a photo ID. This request can be obtained online by visiting MY VOTE WI or by completing a Wisconsin Application For Absentee Ballot and returning it with a copy of a photo ID to the Town Clerk, PO Box 7, St Germain, WI 54558.
 
EARLY VOTING IN PERSON VIA ABSENTEE BALLOT
Any qualified elector may vote an absentee ballot in the clerk's office during the days and hours specified for casting an absentee ballot in person. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election. The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot. Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued.

VILAS COUNTY 2021
RECYCLING AMNESTY PROGRAM

St. Germain property owners may once again participate in the annual Vilas County Recycling Amnesty Program for recycling of appliances, electronics, tires and other qualifying items taken to the Highway G Landfill in Cloverland, Eagle Waste Recycling in Eagle River or Advanced Disposal in Minocqua.
Cost reduction vouchers valued at up to $15.00 each (limit of two vouchers per year) may be obtained from the Town Clerk at 715-891-0699 or townstg@frontier.com.
