NCA Annual Meeting
June 16, 2021
11:00am
Mirror Lake Inn, Lake Placid
One of two annual NCA membership events. Join your colleagues in business, economic development, education, and workforce development for this informative networking event at the beautiful Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid. COVID protocols will be in place.

In addition to the meeting, networking, and sharing a meal, this year's Annual Meeting program features a peer-to-peer facilitated discussion on post-pandemic initiatives including workforce, business development, federal stimulus projects, and more. The monthly and annual NCA Board meetings will precede the discussion.

Thanks to generous support from event sponsors National Grid, Workforce Development Institute, and Atlantic Testing Laboratories, there is not cost to attend this event.
Farm to Table at the Hearth of Malone
"Grist Mill Pils" is a beer brewed by Nathan Drake of Township 7 exclusively for Hearth. For every pint of Grist Mill Pils sold, Hearth donates twenty-five cents to the restoration of the Historic Grist Mill of Malone.
Hearth of Malone is a farm-to-table restaurant that specializes in sourcing the highest quality ingredients, locally whenever possible, and using them to produce thoughtful modern-American food. Bowe and Arrow, LLC used NCA financing for renovations, machinery and equipment, and working capital to start the business.

Chef Jesse Badger, who was raised on a subsistence farm in rural southern Indiana, has created a menu grounded in small-scale agriculture and centered around using everything from a stone oven that only burns local hardwoods to the most modern techniques and ingredients to produce food that is welcoming and delicious. The menu will change seasonally based on local ingredients and requests from patrons.

"Hearth of Malone is, in a way, a tribute to the innovative, hardworking and entrepreneurial people of the North Country," says Darren Gough, CEO, MCM Development Malone, LLC.
Member Spotlight: Community Bank
"In my years of experience working with NCA as a lending partner, I have been most impressed with its knowledge of North Country markets and its understanding of the challenges businesses face. The NCA has always been flexible with its lending structures, which has helped many businesses successfully move forward.
