Andy Thibodeau
NRMS will be hosting Andy Thibodeau remotely on Friday, May 7 for the NRMS Leadership Conference and remotely from Wednesday, May 12 through Friday, May 14 when he will meet with all in-person and remote teams in grades 5 through 8.
Andy Thibodeau was called "Mr. School Spirit" by the alumni magazine of King's College at Western University (London) when they named him alumni of the year in 2014. This passion for leadership and school spirit started in late grade 7 when Andy successfully ran for student council Vice President. He won because no one ran against him! From organizing dances in 8th grade, pep rallies in high school and orientation week in University, Andy's enthusiasm for leadership and community service led to his unique career of inspiring students and staff across the continent.
Since 1992, Andy has delivered thousands of fun inspirational presentations to schools and conferences across North America. Over two million people have experienced his IMPACT Presentations in all 10 Canadian provinces and 40 US states. It is an honor to welcome Andy back to NRMS!

OHYES! Survey
Students in grade 7 will take the OHYES! survey during the week of May 16 in their physical education class. Please click here for more information about that survey.
Field Day
Field Days will be taking place in the physical education classes for grades 5 through 7 beginning on Monday, April 26. The HPE team will have one or two activities that they will facilitate per day depending on the length of those events. Activities will take place both inside and outside depending on weather. Students will still have the opportunity to earn 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons. Field Day events will conclude on Friday, May 21.
The HPE team is tentatively planning to facilitate Field Day for 8th grade students during the afternoon hours over 2 to 4 days in May. More information will be shared with the students at a later date.

James and the Giant Peach
North Royalton High School presents James and the Giant Peach Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, May 1 at 7:00 PM, or a special matinee performance on Sunday, May 2 at 2:00 PM!
Seating in the auditorium is limited due to Covid-19 protocols. Masks are required. Advance orders are highly encouraged. Please see the flyer ticket order form below to learn more and to order your tickets!
