April 2022
Mid-Month Update
Block of the Month Information
We are so excited that you love the Blocks of the Month we'll be starting soon. We've had lots of sign ups; so if you're interested in joining the fun, please contact us.
ForeverMore, by Pam Buda, will be a Summer Block of the Month. Marti has finished the center of the quilt, and some additional blocks, and they're hanging at the front of the store. There have been some delays, so it looks like June may be the starting point. If you're on the fence, time is running out!

We're hoping to begin Emma, from Windham Fabrics, in the Summer of 2022 (Still waiting for the fabric to arrive!). It's a 12-month program, made with gorgeous blue and aqua batiks. It will be $26.50/month, plus shipping if we need to mail it.

NEW: The shop sample is complete and hanging near the front door - stop in and see this fabulous quilt! Just the other day someone commented that the photo doesn't do the quilt justice - you have to see it!

Special Exhibit
Check out where we began...
Did you know Yankee Pride spent its first 21 years in the Champlain Mill in Winooski? We were a part of the Mill to Mall experience. Right now there's a special exhibit going on at the Mill, commemorating its original revitalization. Judy spoke with the organizers (but chose not to appear on camera, of course!) about our experience and the early days of retail there. This exhibit is ongoing through July 29, 2022 - if you're in the Winooski area, make sure you check it out!

New Fabric Arrivals!
Click on the images below for an up-close look at the fabrics
Triple Time Basics
from Laura Berringer
by Marcus Fabrics
These are some very basic tone-on-tone prints, in two motifs. One looks like small curved diamonds, and the other is ginkgo leaves. Because the designs are so subtle, you can use the fabrics in lots of different types of quilts. They play well with everyone!
Batiks - various lines
by Hoffman
And the batiks continue to arrive! There are some really lovely ones this week, both in unique color combinations and old favorites. Which one makes your fingers itch to start a new project?

Garden Gatherings Shirtings
from Primitive Gatherings
by Moda
There are plenty of Repro fabric fans out there - it's why we have such a large selection. With their tiny motifs, these new arrivals have the classic looks of shirtings, but the more contemporary colors allow you to use them in traditional projects if you choose.
Tulip Tango
from Robin Pickens
by Moda
Just in time for spring, this box arrived. The range of pinks in this line is just wonderful! The large prints (bottom in photo) are wonderful for quilt borders, bags, napkins, and any other place where you'll be able to really see the size and the detail of the tulips. The smaller tulip print (middle right in photo) will make an adorable dress for a little one.
