LinkedIn Podcast Network Launches, Presented By Verizon
LinkedIn is entering into the world of podcasting, building out a network of creators and shows as a way for professionals to connect. 


The DL: LinkedIn, the professional networking and career development platform will be branching out into the world of podcasts with the launch of the LinkedIn Podcast Network. On Wednesday, they started with the launch of a dozen shows from industry creators such as Morra Aarons-Mele, Jonathan Fields, Mita Mallick, and Dee C. Marshall. From there, they will further expand to a network of additional creators and shows that will touch on subjects such as decoding tech, understanding the hiring process, managing mental health, and more. The shows will be available directly on the platform's site by following podcast hosts, subscribing to their newsletters, and on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. LinkedIn hopes this addition will further engage and inform its current 810 million members. 
Nielsen Adds CTV Streaming Data To Media Planning Solution
Nielsen is adding connected-TV data from its Streaming Platform Ratings to its media planning and optimization tool, Nielsen Media Impact (NMI).


The DL: Nielsen is adding connected TV data from its Streaming Platform Ratings to its media planning and optimization tool. This tool also includes TV, digital, radio, print, and out-of-home. Adding this date into the mix will enable advertisers to find cost efficiencies and determine optimal media mixes to reach their target and achieve their goals.
Can TikTok Save The Olympics?
Bite-sized clips are designed to engage younger viewers, but getting them to tune in on TV is another matter.


The DL: It has been no secret that TV audiences are slowly drifting away from the Olympics year over year, and as a result, has led NBCU to incorporate a wide-range of marketing efforts to increase viewership. In collaboration with TikTok, NBCU has aggressively promoted the winter games through a range of highlight competitions, clips from recognizable competitors, and posts that take viewers behind the scenes. In addition, NBCU and TikTok partnered to launch an at-home Olympics campaign, that allowed users to share their competitive talents alongside the gold medalists. The collaboration gained a lot of engagement and allowed users who would be less likely to watch the Olympics, be able to engage in the game festivities.

TikTok Partnership With Stingray Brings TikToK Radio To Millions Across U.S., Canada
Today, Stingray -- a music, media and technology company that reaches 400 million subscribers in 160 countries -- announced a partnership with social media platform TikTok.


The DL: TikTok is partnering with Stingray to bring TikTok Radio to the United States and Canada. Available via TV, web, and mobile, it will play music found featured in viral videos of old, new, and unknown songs. An old form of media getting another breath of life from a new form of media. A great way for marketers to capture the attention of audiences on what has become an outdated form of entertainment.
