"My center is the heart of every lover.
Every lover with a heart that loves Baba is a center."

Meher Baba
At Meher Center, 1956

Dear Meher Center Friends and Family,

It has been a special week at Meher Center, with many of Baba’s lovers able to enter the Lagoon Cabin and the Barn for the first time in over a year, as well as the Library, Reading Room, Boathouse, and other precious Center spots. It reminds me of the story of one of Bili Eaton’s moments in the Lagoon Cabin with Baba during a long-awaited visit to the Center. She had been feeling ashamed and unworthy because of something she had done, until she looked into Baba’s eyes:

For some reason, I felt Baba drew me to look at him. I don't know how to explain that feeling. The look of love in his eyes was so strong and so powerful that had I not been seated, it would have knocked me down. I knew at that moment that he loved me in a way that was greater than all the love from all of my friends and family combined. The look was so powerful that it was like a bolt; and yet, it was so soft and warm. That love sustained me for years. I knew then, without a doubt, that Baba loves everybody. No matter who they are—how terrible they are, how simple they are, the worst murderers—he loves them. This love was so great that my healing began then.*

In His love and service,

Buz Connor

"I knew I'd come home"
Virginia Sadowsky met Meher Baba for the first time in 1956, with her nine-year-old daughter holding one hand and an injured bird in a cage in the other. In her bright, humorous, self-deprecating way, Virginia goes on to describe her time with her Master, including intimate tales—funny, touching, and sometimes painful—of Baba’s final days on the Center in 1958.

"Greater than Realization is His companionship"
In part one of this illuminating audio at Meher Center, Adi K Irani, Baba's close disciple and secretary, talks about Baba's cosmology and the soul's journey. He explains the concepts of Avatarhood, planes of consciousness, and the status of God realized souls. He also answers questions from the group about the path, reincarnation, and our effort in being guided through the planes in a veiled fashion. As an added perk, we hear Kitty Davy chiming in about Baba's next advent.
