Black History Moment brought to us by Elder Daphne Williams:

"Christmas Youth Program at FUPC"

While I was looking through younger pictures of my son, Xavier Brown, to display at his high school graduation celebration this past weekend, I came across some pictures of our First United Youth who were a part of our annual Christmas programs. As I scrolled through pictures, I was amazed at some of the young faces I saw of our youth who are now college graduates, currently in college, or moved on to make their mark in the world. My Black History moment is remembering the time and effort that our Education Ministry would tirelessly put into creating beautiful programs for our youth that illustrated the birth of baby Jesus and the wonderful blessings he would bring to the world. Thank you to our Education Ministry for always being ready and willing to teach our youth about the word of God and how important and impactful it can be in our lives and passing that on to the youth of our church. Remember that our youth are the future of our church and without them, our church cannot continue to have a rich history that we are so proud of.
