Street improvements are scheduled to begin this summer on 6th Street SW. We wanted to give you information about what to anticipate.
The project stretches 2,000 feet south of 76th Avenue SW, and includes pavement reconstruction and access to new development via a roundabout, new sidewalk and trail, additional turn lanes, utility upgrades, and new trees and plantings.

Traffic Impacts
6th Street SW will be closed between 76th Avenue SW and Wright Brothers Blvd while construction is underway. However, business and residential access will remain open throughout construction. Please watch the online video for more details.
Timeline
The first phase of construction is tentatively scheduled to start this August. The project will be completed late summer 2022.
