HEY 5TH GRADE PARENTS...

We've extended the deadline to get your 5th grader's baby/toddler picture in the yearbook...don't miss out!

Deadline is this FRIDAY, March 22

It's a Rockwell tradition that we include 5^th grade students’ baby/toddler photos in the yearbook!  If you’d like to participate in this tradition, please send a baby photo to yearbook@normanrockwellpta.org.

Please send a high/full resolution photo and include your student’s name and teacher in the filename (example: AmySmith_Harris.jpg)

We recommend submitting a photo that is between 6months-2years, but you are welcome to submit whatever age picture you’d like!

MOD Pizza Fundraising Update

Rockwell Families and Staff, thank you for supporting our dine-out. We have fantastic news! Our fundraiser resulted in a total sales amount of $1,987.38, which means PTA fundraising will receive $496.85 (25% of total sales)! Funds raised help fund 40+ programs and events throughout the school year. Go Beagles, Go! 

Staff Appreciation Week

March 18-22

ALL WEEK LONG:

• Thank-You-Grams: Send your teacher and staff members a token to show your gratitude for all that they do. Accepting orders through Thursday, March 21 or until we sell out!. Also, we've added bus drivers to the orders, head on over to the PTA website to order. Order your thank-you-grams HERE!
• Snacks in the Staff Room: Rockwell PTA will be providing a table full of delicious grab-and-go snacks and drinks in the staff room to keep our Rockwell staff fueled for the week.

MONDAY:

• Cards for Teachers and Staff Members: Bring in a card to give to your teacher or other staff members you like. Cards can be handmade or store-bought. Heck, it can even be a sticky note...the main point being to express your appreciation to those that help brighten your day!

TUESDAY:

• Coffee Cart: Rockwell PTA will be funding a coffee cart for staff members so they can enjoy some delicious beverages to get them energized for the week.
• Chair Massages: During their break time, staff will have the opportunity to enjoy a moment of calm with a chair massage offered by a local chiropractic office.

WEDNESDAY:

• Flowers for your teacher: Room parents will provide a bouquet of flowers and will hand one flower to each student to hand to their teacher as they come in. Students are welcome to bring their own flowers if they'd like to add to the bouquet.

THURSDAY:

• Classroom Supplies: Room Parents should have reached out to each class with a classroom wish list of supplies to help carry teachers through the end of the year. Students can sign up to purchase items from this wish list if they like.

FRIDAY:

• Breakfast for staff: We've had several parents sign up to bring in some yummy breakfast treats for the staff to enjoy.
• Round two of relaxing chair massages for teachers and staff during their break time.
