A PUBLICATION OF THE NORMANDALE PTO
How do plants grow? What happens to aluminum after it's recycled? How many marshmallows would it take to reach the moon? How do fish sleep? Shouldn't every thing that comes out of the toaster be called toast? Why do they call it a Fool’s Spring? All these questions make our imaginations go wild! Lucky for us, we get the chance to explore these topics and then some at Normandale’s Imagination Fair on April 2nd. Keep reading below for more details and how you can participate. Then, simply let your imaginations run loose like a feral French-Immersion grade-schooler returning from "Spring Break" only to find a foot of snow on the playground after their parents packed away all their winter gear, hand warmers, and canceled their plow service...

Thank You To:
- All the teachers who created space and time for our students to read, and to families at home who diligently recorded their students' minutes of reading efforts.
- Our special visitors including Shelly Breen, Terrell Woods, Abdo Publishing, and Djenane Saint Juste.
- The Book Fair volunteer friends for a great event; set up, sales, and clean up!
- Our amazing office staff for helping coordinate all the things.
- And especially the volunteers, with a special mention to Cynthia Vessey, that made it all possible.
- MOST of all to our beloved, favorite, and rocking out students for being the best readers they can possibly be. Reading Rocks! Lire....ça déshire!

The Edina Education Fund is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to the continued academic excellence of the Edina Public Schools.
The Ed Fund secures private, supplemental funding to support valuable education experiences and innovative projects in the Edina Public Schools. Funds raised augment school system revenues that are provided by taxes, state aid, and other parent and student led fundraising efforts. The Ed Fund is necessary to help ensure the caliber of educational programs we have come to expect of the Edina Public Schools. Your support means greater academic opportunities for all students, today and into the future.
We are fortunate to be part of the Edina community that has a strong, valued and well-respected school system. However, to protect and enhance the value of our homes and property and the quality of life we enjoy, we must further invest in our public school system. Edina Education Fund contributes to the development and financial support of district-wide programs within Literacy, STEAM and Mental Health/Wellness Services for all students and staff.
