Ohio Region Updates

Hey Ohio Region patrollers! We're finishing February strong with Senior S&T this weekend and then riding out the remainder of skiing and snowboarding season as long as Mother Nature will allow. Here are a few things coming up:

Senior Ski/Snowboard and Toboggan Event
The Senior S&T is this Saturday, Feb 26 at Perfect North Slopes. We've got 27 patrollers prepped and ready to test. Wow! Good luck to the candidates!

Certified Exam
The Certified exam is taking place March 10-12 in Lutsen, MN. For those not familiar with the Certified program, it is the highest classification a patroller can attain within the National Ski Patrol. It is comprised of 10 different modules that are conducted over a three day period. To say it is intense is an understatement!
We've got one candidate representing the Ohio Region this season - Yvette Gerdes from Perfect North. Join us in wishing her luck and she works to complete the modules she has left for becoming Certified!

Region Spring Meeting and Awards Dinner - Saturday, April 30
Join us at the Brookside Golf & Country Club in Columbus, OH for our first in person Region meeting and awards dinner since 2019! We'll celebrate and award winners from the past three seasons and enjoy being back together for the first time in a long time. Stay tuned for more details!
