CHAMBER ADVOCACY
LAST WEEK in RALEIGH:
We have been told by our partners at the NC Chamber of Commerce that leaders in the NC House and Senate have reached agreement on a state budget proposal. Their plan has been shared with the Governor's office to see if a bipartisan deal might be struck to pass a budget that is acceptable to all parties at the bargaining table. They expect the Governor and his team to process the budget over the coming days, then work with legislators to negotiate a final package.
